Compost Bucket

I find that composting is such a beautiful way for our family to soar on the breath of the earth. It makes me feel so pure and fresh to know that the food remnants we discard will return to the soil to nourish a new generation of life.

  1. Ah, lovely, but I think the actual turning-of-organic matter-into-compost is supposed to take place outside of the actual kitchen…
Incidentally, I don’t compost too many banana peels anymore myself. We eat so many, and they just don’t seem to decompose fast enough. Do you have any solutions?

  2. We don’t seem to have any problem breaking down the banana peels. Could be we have an extra special bacterial cocktail going on in our kitchen bucket. Want to take a little home?
